Your boss at the Big News Company placed a curse on you, turning your head into a camera. Jump, run, and snap pictures to freeze objects in time to appease him. Photograph the flower at the end of the level to earn your head back. Time is of the essence!
I made most of the models and textures for the environment. The models were made in maya and taken into substance designer or painter before being put into the Unreal engine. The style was developed by me and meant to look hand painted and have clear brushstrokes with highlights and shadows directly painted on objects. I Then created an outline shader to help separate object and deal with the amount of clutter from the foliage.
I made certain textures by modeling them in Zbrush and taking a heightmap to then color them in Substance Designer. In unreal I then used parallax occlusion mapping to fake depth.
I Also used a Noise Panner material for the toxic lake in the level as well as vertex painting with a virtual runtime texture to give the environment some extra flair.
Plates of Power is a roguelike game inspired by Latino Culture, emphasizing power, failure, and the importance of community. Returning home from college, Ale Zardoya learns of her sister’s disappearance and must embrace the role of Champion as she embarks on a mission to find her.
I made all pieces of the current toolkit used in the procedurally generated environment. The models were made in maya and each wall and door has multiple options of available colors. The Planters and Level layouts as well as the ground material were all created by me
I made the logomark, did the textbox and colored and sketched the skill tree menu, the health bar, and money ui.
Finding Asteria is an RPG with platforming enemy battles. A current personal project. There are plans to make it into a full length game. You play as Athena a girl who wants to know her purpose in this world and is currently trying to find her dad, but beyond that she does not know.
The game is currently being remade to a 3D isometric game with a pixel shader material to more closely match my vision and create a more fun and engaging playing experience.
Adsense Is a 2D autorunner with ads.
I am sole Programmer and Artist and Producer for the game.
